Florida Palm Coast Karate Event Directors, National Team Pepsi Coaches, and Radio Show Hosts Danny & Theresa Zaino would like to thank you for visiting their "Battle of the Arts" site which is home to the Zaino Family Radio Shows; National Team Pepsi "Show Team"; The National Promoters League; The "Battle of Florida" International Martial Arts Championships; The Florida Palm Coast Karate Events Tournament Circuit; Zaino's Martial Arts Gym; and Oriental Express Karate & Boxing Supplies.
Danny, a former member of the US Army Karate Team holds an 8th degree Black Belt in Japanese / Okinawan GoJu-Ryu. He is also a former Military and Florida Police Officer and in 1984 won the title of “Kumite Champion” at the Police Olympics in Florida. In 1997 he developed his “Pure Warrior” Sports Tonfa for sports martial arts competition. Theresa holds a 6th degree Black Belt in Japanese / Okinawan GoJu-Ryu and is a championship competitor in her own rights. Together they developed their “Florida Palm Coast Karate Events” tournament circuit in 1988 and “Team Pepsi” their National Martial Arts competition and entertainment team in 2000.
National Team Pepsi
Danny and Theresa travel extensively with National Team Pepsi performing around the country. The ten National Team members include their own three talented children, Tony, Joey, and Dominique Zaino who are all Nationally and World ranked martial arts competitors. Their Nationally rated Team Pepsi “Show Team” has become the featured entertainment at the World’s top martial arts hall of fame events for over seven years with the demand for their performing growing each year. The team has been awarded "Demo Team of the Year" along with Danny & Theresa receiving an award for "Coaches of the Year" for 4 consecutive years, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007. Along with their National Team Pepsi performance schedule, the couple promotes their "Battle of Florida" a Nationally ranked Karate event sponsored by Pepsi Americas, Ringstar, The Action Radio Network, FightZone Magazine & TV, The World Martial Arts Magazine, and The Hakama Lady. The Zaino's have been promoting their "Battle of Florida" event along with their "Florida Palm Coast Karate Events" tournament circuit for 2 decades and have been awarded Hall of Fame "Promoters of the Year" 7 times since 1994.

Zaino Family Host Six Shows
Danny & Theresa are also the hosts of their own online radio shows The Danny & Theresa Zaino's "Martial Arts Radio Hour" which airs two shows every Wednesday night at 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm EST and Martial Arts "Spot Light" which airs every Monday night at 8:00 pm and 9:00pm EST. The shows feature special guest interviews and reports on the people and events of the Sport Karate scene in the USA today along with guest host Nancy Evans from FightZone Magazine & TV presents "FightZone Gets Up Close & Personal" monthly MMA & Boxing interviews. Dominique Zaino is the host of her own show "Kids Corner" which airs on Sunday nights at 8:00 pm EST and Tony & Joey Zaino have a new show "Sports Talk" on Tuesday nights at 8:00 pm EST.
